I would call East Nashville the place to be. To me, it's like one big melting pot of Nashville that has a little bit of everything whether its food, music, beer, people or bars. There is definitely something for everyone in this hipster paradise. Just head to five points and grab a slice of arguably the best pizza in all of Nashville. Check out the local scenery for brunch over at the famous Mad Donna’s. There is a taste of all different parts of Nashville in this special neighborhood. That is just one example of what made East Nashville the number two neighborhood in the entire country. Residents of East Nashville to me are the definition of what it means to be a real local Nashvillian.

The food scene in East Nasty as the locals like to call it has its own kind of flavor. Diverse cuisine from Two Ten Jack, Rosepepper,Mitchell Delicatessen or Pharmacy are just a few of the amazing eateries that draw people from everywhere. My personal favorite spot in the neighborhood would have to be Rosepepper. Its really cool atmosphere and house margaritas are the perfect combo to make you feel right at home. Once your done with your cantina meal it's the perfect time to head over to 3 Crow to step up your drink order to a whiskey. The residents love this awesome neighborhood because of all these great places and their proximity to their homes.

There is this cool sense of community in East Nashville that I believe really shows itself when you hit the local bar scene. The first time I got to experience the East Nashville bar scene it was a trip to beyond the edge for a happy hour with one of my best childhood friends that is a true East Nash resident. We sat down out on the patio which was filled with people just hanging out happy to be on that patio having a drink. There was no weird sense of awkwardness between tables. It was like a scene out of friends when they are hanging out at the Central Perk. This feel of unity kind of gives a good example of the neighborhood as a whole. It's not just the hipster neighborhood anymore. Anyone can find somewhere to fit in East Nashville. This is evident in all the new homes being constructed and selling like hot cakes as fast as they can build or remodel them.One of the first times I ever came over to the east side I ended up on this street called Shelby that my friend lived on.

I was jamming the tunes enjoying the tunes when I realized I had to have passed his house. I turned the car around and as I come up Shelby I crest the top of the hill to see this gorgeous view of downtown Nashville that I didn't even know existed. It's one of those views that as a real estate agent I am thinking about how much money its worth. This might be one of the reasons Shelby Ave has become a trademark of East Nashville. This is just one example of the cool characteristics of East Nashville that has been driving investors to the area to take advantage of the Nashville boom.

I could spend all day talking about this vibrant neighborhood. It has so much to offer that I could not even fit in this article if I tried. People have really taken notice of what is going on in East Nash. Recently a national publication called Thrillest.com put East Nashville as the #2 coolest neighborhood in the country. If I could advise anyone on making a good real estate investment East Nashville would definitely be on the list. The affordable homes are going fast!
